Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) Short-Cut Fiber, also known as Acrylic Short-Cut Fiber or Network Fiber, is made from modified polypropylene via processes including extrusion, drawing, web formation, surface modification, and short-cutting. The fiber features a network structure formed by interlocking multiple monofilaments. When added to concrete, the network fiber is extruded and split into individual hook-ended monofilaments that interlock and distribute multidirectionally, significantly enhancing the bond strength between the fiber and concrete.
